What we have learnt adopting evidence-based software engineering for industrial practice

The industrial track of EASE'14 prompted the question of whether Evidence-Based Software Engineering (EBSE) could help industrial practitioners [4]. We address this question by summarising what we have learnt adopting EBSE within a large-scale engineering enterprise. Our intent is twofold: (i) to compile and summarise the learning accumulated and (ii) share this knowledge with both practitioners and researchers.
