Call for Participation 15th European Conference on Software Maintenance and Reengineering

E. Chikofsky, Andreas J. Winter, Yiannis Kanellopoulos · 2011

The Conference on Software Maintenance and Reengineering (CSMR) is the premier European conference on the theory and practice of maintenance, reengineering and evolution of software systems. CSMR promotes discussion and interaction among researchers and practitioners about the development of maintainable software intensive systems, and the evolution, migration and reengineering of these systems. A total of 10 technical research paper sessions constitute the main conference, filled with 29 full papers and 2 short papers. Furthermore, CSMR 2011 will feature two co located workshops, five half day tutorials, an industry paper track, a tool demonstration track, a doctoral symposium and a special track on European research projects within the field of software evolution. What is new this year is the addition of an industrial forum. There will be two invited talks: Jens Borchers, ITManager at SCHUFA Holding AG, will report on current activities in software evolution at his company (reengineering by redevelopment), lessons forgotten, and new challenges in reengineering from an industrial perspective. Hans Vangheluwe, University of Antwerp, will introduce modeldriven aspects in softwaremaintenance and reengineering. Industrial Forum: the industrial forum enables companies to present their technologies (tools, methodologies, services) as well as success stories in software maintenance and reengineering. The goal is to promote the work of reengineering industry and to demonstrate its practical relevance to this field. The forum will feature three industry talks by representatives of Software Quality Systems (SQS) Group, Software Improvement Group (SIG), and FrontEndArt. Furthermore, the following five tutorials will be held:
