An introduction is being presented to the operation characteristics of a 390H generator brush's slip ring,while failures between positive and negative slip ring at primary side of the generator caused by negative ring fire troubles described,and subsequent treatment method and result presented.Noticeable items for normal maintenance are therefore proposed.
