It is necessary for an object-oriented database(OODB)management system with rich semantics and complex structures to provide a visual query tool to facilitate operation and management of OODB efficiently. This paper introduces an algorithm which can auto-generate different object schema graphs to query information of OODB visually. The experiment shows that the algorithm can be used as the basis of visual query of object-oriented database, and it can be applied to engineering domains with similar complex structures of inheritance and composition.
