Gateway Device and Access Mechanism for WLAN in Wireless Sensor Networks

Gateway is an important equipment for realizing the interconnection between Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs) and other infrastructure networks(such as mobile communication networks,telecommunication networks,etc).This paper designs and implements a kind of gateway for WSN,which communicates with WSN by using of CC2420 chip.The gateway connects with external networks wirelessly using WLAN module and overcomes the limitations of hardware deployment,as well as expands the application scope of gateway equipment for WSN.
