Implementation of broadband access intelligent switch

Ethernet is regarded as an absorbing broadband access scheme that adapts to developing country such as China, in which most people inhabit a multi-storied building. In the access network, broadband LANs are built in community, combining to bone network through high-speed fiber, connecting to families through twisted-pair, and making each family gain solely 110M/100Mbps bandwidth. This paper first shows the solution of Ethernet broadband access, then introduces the architecture of intelligent broadband access switch, gives in detail the major technology and implement of the switch software system, including multicast, VLAN, network accounting, remote management and so on .
