Analysis on Present Situation of Characteristic Databases in North-west China

Many libraries and scientific organizations have begun their characteristic databases construction since last 90’.It has developed greatly through the hard works.I sum up the characteristics and superiorities through the investigations and analysis to the characteristic databases in North-west China,meanwhile put forward suggestions for the construction and utilization of the characteristic database.
