The Prediction and Analysis of the Road Tunnel Traffic Flow

It is of extremely importance to predict the road tunnel traffic flow in order to establish an energy-efficient and lower-operating-cost tunnel ventilation system.Multiple Statistical Analysis(MSA) and BP Neural Network(BPNN) have been used in the prediction of road tunnel traffic flow respectively,and then the two types of prediction have been analysed and compared,and finally a practical conclusion is made―MSA method is proposed when the tunnel traffic flow is small and stable,and BPNN method is proposed when the tunnel traffic flow is large and unstable.
