Study of the Application of Web Services Technology in the Heterogeneous System Integration

This paper analyzes the challenge of the traditional middleware in the Heterogeneous System Integration(HSI) field,and introduces the whole Web Services architecture and its advantages. It discusses the feasibility of applying Web Services technology in the Heterogeneous System Integration field by using a specific application case and gives an example solution.
