MANET Congestion Control Based on GM(1,1) Prediction

An adaptive congestion control mechanism called TCP_Acc for wireless Mobile Ad hoc NETwork(MANET) is proposed.For a given statistical bandwidth at the data link layer,this mechanism uses a GM(1,1) model to predict the network conditions in the future,and adjusts the congestion window adaptively,according to the predicted bandwidth.Simulations experimental results demonstrate this mechanism can improve significantly and effectively the TCP reliability and QoS of real-time communication over wireless MANET,in terms of lower packet loss rate,end-to-end delay,and so on.
