Research of MPEG-7 Scalable Color Descriptor

Scalable Color Descriptor is one of the independent four Color Descriptors among MPEG-7.In this paper,we will introduce particularly the background,Descriptor components semantics,bitplane,Haar transform and matching algorithm in the MPEG-7.This article also accounts for applying scope of the descriptor and this will be helpful to those readers who will use the Descriptor.
