Danamic image compression on narrow band environment

Effective image compression should be used in narrow band environment dynamic image transmitting. Thus a improved wavelet zerotree coding method is discussed. Runlength coding of consecutive roots of zerotree and coding of nonzero-valued coefficients may make use of extensible coding, so a new algorithm for extending is used which contains more information per bit than some traditional methods. Further more, image mosaic method is applied to resolve the problem that small size image cannot receive good performance while using wavelet coding.
