Design of a Low Temperature Fluctuation Changeable Output Bandgap Reference Voltage

Zhang Hong · Electronic Engineer · 2007

Bandgap reference voltage uses the compensation of the negative temperature coefficient of PN junction and the positive temperature coefficient of voltage difference between two PN junctions with different current density to get very low temperature drift of output voltage. Bandgap reference voltage has advantages of low temperature coefficient, high PSRR,low voltage reference, long-term stability, and so on. According to the theory of bandgap voltage reference,a bandgap voltage reference with high precision and changeable output voltage is proposed, which utilizes the technology of the first order temperature compensation and current compensation in the conventional bandgap voltage reference circuit. The design has high precision, changeable output voltage and good stability. And it is easy to be implemented.
