Chai Yih Ming · Journal of Chinese Computer Systems · 2012
With development of wireless Mesh networks, service performance becomes a concerned topic for researchers and users.Based on popular stochastic network calculus, the paper proposes a traffic model with Fractional Brownian Motion arrival flows. We apply Central Limit Theorem to construct a stochastic arrival curve for aggregation flows and single flow according to flows has self-similarity in wireless Mesh networks. The numerical results show that the traffic model can express practical characteristic of flows. It has important theoretical significance for high quality and reliability service guarantee in wireless Mesh networks.
