The Study on Godard's passband timing recovery algorithm

This paper derives Godard's passband timing recovery algorithm based on Lyon's BECM.The criterion which we used is different from Godard's,and the deducing process is easier than Godard's.We analysis the identicalness between the Lyon criterion and the Godard criterion.The simulation shows that this method is efficient to track out the frequency shift and the phase offset of the sampling clock and can recover the passband sampling clock quickly.
