The supporting technology, management network, hardware, software package, test trial and application result of online information management system for patrol inspection of oil extraction plant were introduced. This system relyed on GPS and GIS technology, and adopted B/S structure, and technique of JAVA/JSP, so the route of patrol inspector can be displayed accurately and timely, and the real-time monitoriang achieved, to guarantee safe production of oil(water)well.
