The bio-surfactant of alkyl polyglucoside(APG),which is a new class warm and green nonionic surfactant is prepared with the renewable raw material such as starch and the natural fatty alcohol.The research of APG has already been the focus in the region of surfactants.The authors deduce the actuality of development,mechanism,synthesis and impact factors,applications of bio-surfactant alkyl-polyglucoside in this paper.The synthesis technology of APG is developing to the direction of high efficiency and low costs,widely used in domestic chemical region with good surface-active properties and excellent biodegradability.The further research to APG will bring profound significance to the market of surfactants.
