In order to meet the data transmission real-time, reliability and accuracy function requirements of the real-time online anti-theft alarm system, a novel distribute-electricity transformer district ground wire anti-theft alarm system with GSM/GPRS wireless communication network. The whole monitoring system was designed for three sections with TTU transformer terminal unit, GSM/GPRS wireless communication network, monitoring center, the fracture and working principle for the function model was proposed in this paper. The practical application effect shows that this system can online monitoring, illustrating and analyzing the illustrating and analyzing the operating conditions state trends of distribute-electricity transformer district ground wire, and also can accurately evaluate the theft and wire break accident, the system has been practically applied with good effect.
