Summarization of Techniques and Development of Detection for Road Traffic Vehicles

Based on study on the most fundamental factor-traffic information acquisition techniques of the intelligent traffic system(ITS) and classification,analysis and investigation for common vehicle detectors,this paper expatiates working principles of a few typical vehicle detectors in stationary type detection techniques,analyzes their respective advantages,disadvantages and applicable environments.In combination with development tendency of modern science and technology and request for development of ITS,the paper analyzes and probes into development direction of detection techniques in road traffic vehicles and fusion of traffic information.
