Since the introduction of Power Analysis on smart cards by Paul Kocher,many countermeasures have been suggested to protect implementations of cryptographic algorithms.In this paper,a new protection principle ——the transformed masking method is proposed.And this method is applied to protect the most popular block cipher: DES.
