Steelmaking EAF with larger load of t he distribution network would produce large impact and interference on the public electric network in operatio n.In the light of flick-er,its characteristics were analyzed and prevention countermeasures f or the flicker were com-pared.Thus,a better understanding of voltage fluctuation and the flick er in electric energy quali-ty,and the protection countermeasu res would be produced,which would be useful in applica-tion of actual engineering.[
