Image enhancement which is also called image pre-processing plays an indispensable role in signal image processing. This article introduces two kinds of algorithm-histogram equalization and histogram specifications, gives an experimental result based on MATLAB.From the relevant images and histograms of realization,it is clear that histogram enhancement can improve the contrast details and equalize the dynamic range of image gray level.
