Comprehensive evaluation system of smooth blast effect is established by using catastrophe theory,the hole utilization ratio,semi-hole rate and surface irregularities as three indicators parameters for the evaluation,are normalized and evaluates the smooth blast effect with the total value of catastrophe class.This method avoids the shortcomings of weighting given by the subjective in the traditional method,the results are accurate and practical,simple and quick calculation,and provides a new idea for the blasting program decision-making.
