Design of A Data-collecting Box for Numerical Controlled Well Logging System

Numerical controlled well logging systems play an important role in petroleum exploration and production. Data collection box is the kernel part of the system. A new method of designing the data collection box is introduced. The ARM embedded chip and the FPGA chip are the kernel chips of the data collection box,and the Ethernet is the communication medium between the cards of the data collection box and the host computer in the numerical controlled well logging system. This data-col- lecting box has more integrated level and communication speed higher than the others of same kind.
