Simulation of Plant Root Systems Growth with L-systems Theories

According to the geometric character of the plant root systems,application of the L-systems theories in simulating the plant root systems growth was studied.The theories of Bracketed L-systems,Parametric L-systems,Stochastic L-systems and Timed L-systems were combined,the L-systems productions which could describe the plant root systems growth were written out,the three-dimensional visualization of the plant tap root systems was realized,the stochastic and fractal features of the growth of the plant root systems were presented,the continuity of the graphics varied with time was realized.
