Distance of absolute value with weight and its applications

Aim To investigate a distance of absolute value with weights.Methods The cluster analysis was used.Results A distance of absolute value with weights was definited, and its properities were discussed. The first ten nations in the list of 2004 Olympic gold medals were analyzed by the distance of absolute value with weights, the result shown 1st is USA, 2nd is Russia, 3rd China, 4th Australia, 5th Germany, 6th Japan, 7th France, 8th Italy, 9th Great Britain, 10th Ukraine.Conclusion The cluster analysis was scientific and rational with the distance of absolute value with weights.
