The Research of Flexibility in Equipment Support Command and Control System

Flexibility is a major challenge of Equipment Support Command and Control System (ESCCS). ESCCS with flexibility can improve its abilities to adapt dynamic situation, environment and task. Because software design is considered system's data and functions more than flexibility, it results in less flexible for ESCCS to support processes. In order to resolve the flexible question, the paper puts forward an idea of focusing on processes to construct system by using the technology of workflow and agent. By constructing flexible system architecture, workflow model, data construct and data representation, ESCCS can implement equipment support command and control processes dynamically and greatly improve its flexibility.
