An Algorithm Generating All Subgroups of the Group S_8

A method is given to produce all subgroups of the group S_8 with the aid of computer.The basic idea is first generating all subgroups of A_8 and then extending all subgroups of the A_8 to all subgroups of S_8.The related mathematical theory and computer algorithm are given.Consequently all subgroups of the group S_8 are generated.
