Image segmentation compression method based on special content

A method for segmentation and compression of scanned resume image is presented.This method segments texture information and such information as photo and certificate,and compresses them separately.According to practical application,a system based on this method is implemented.The experimental results show that this method achieves tradeoff of compression ratio and recovery quality.
