Angle Algorithm of Human Body Posture Tracking Based On Accelerometer

The human body movement can be simplified as rigid motion like connecting rods.While human body moves,there is always an angle between the moving limbs and the trunk.If a three-axis accelerometer is fixed on the arm of the body,the angle between the arm and the trunk can be calculated in realtime.In this paper,an improved angle algorithm is designed.This algorithm analyzed the data of the experiments,established the human body model and made a simulation experiment on OSG platform.It is proved that the algorithm is correct and can be applied to track body posture.
