Distributed Intrusion Detection System

Intrusion Detection system (IDS) is able to real time detect,respond and protect the information system. In view of old IDS's disadvantages such as single-system structure,ineffectiveness of collaborative mechanism and IDS single points of failure,this paper develops a distributed intrusion detection system as a solution to the above problems.
