Analysis of Main Factors That Influence the Ratio of Copying in Degree Theses

A factor analysis is made based on a survey of 156 graduating master's students to investigate the main factors that influence the ratio of copying in student degree theses.Results suggest that the major influencing factors include those related to advisors,education in academic ethics,behavior supervision,and employment expectations.On the basis of the findings,recommendations are given for regulating students in terms of their ethical behavior in the preparations of their master's theses.
