Algorithm for source-channel coding based on robust vector quantization

Source-channel coding is an important technology in digital communications.In this paper,several classic source-channel coding algorithms were discussed.Together with vocal tract parameter,the algorithm based on Likelihood-ratio distortion was presented.Multi-stage and split vector quantization which can further reduce distortion was simulated. Compared with traditional algorithm, additional 41% of the distortion was reduced. And the robustness of the system was enhanced without additional channel source.
