Substation secondary technology demand analysis for intelligent grid vision

The concept of intelligent grid is presented,and the demand trend of grid secondary equipment technology based on IEC 61850 standard is analyzed,as well as that of function distribution and reconfiguration based on network communication.Suggestions on appropriately exceeding development of simulation and testing capability such as RTDS to ensure technology security are proposed.
