Construction of function calls relationship graph for multi-language source code

In order to build a source code analysis tool to support multiple languages, and to overcome the problem of the low reuse rate and the complexity of implementation,a method to construct function calls relationship graph for multi-language source code is proposed. In this method,a GCC(GNU Compiler Collection)plug-in is implemented to abstract the function calls relationship from one of the GCC's intermediate representation named Call-graph,to translate them into graph description language and to build up the function call graph with the Graphviz tools.Without changing the GCC internal structure, multiple languages can be supported by the proposed method.Experimental results also show that both the processing time and the storage space can be significantly reduced by this method, compared with the Egypt method.
