Research on the Development of Spatial Analysis GIS Software

Based on the situation that the existing spatial analysis software kits and GIS commercial softwares couldn′t satisfy the requirements of spatial analysis application, we developed spatial analysis GIS software by using the component technology and plug-in technology. Using the component technology, we designed the basic GIS function frame of the software. In addition, some spatial analysis plug-ins had been developed by using the technology of plug-in and plugged in the basic frame. In the software, there 17 spatial analysis modules, which are divided into 7 categories. Other developers could extend the exiting functions by developing new modules conformed to the plug-in standard. The software had been applied efficiently in some researching projects.
