A refined architecture of motion estimator based on odd-even arrays is proposed in this paper.This motion estimator exploited the intrinsic data-reuse characteristic in motion estimation algorithm,thus can realize full search block-matching algorithm.This paper also designed the control logic for motion estimator,and under this control logic,the processing unit(PE) reached 100% utilization.The estimator realized fast and parallel computing,thus can be used in the post processing of high definition video.
