Active data refresh algorithm in multi-data warehouse

To construct a data warehouse supporting group decisions,a model of multi-data warehouse supporting group decisions was proposed based on limitation analysis of the traditional data refresh algorithm and data warehouse model.Intermediate processing layer was added between data source of tradition data warehouse model and data warehouse in order to support flexible update and management of multidata warehouse.Based on this model,an active data refresh algorithm to support multi-data warehouse was given.The model and the algorithm were then evaluated and validated through implementations and analysis.Experiments indicated that this method could refresh the group decisions information more effectively in multi-data warehouse.
