Synthetic Performance Evaluation of Automatic Mechanism Based on Modified AHP

Tian Wei-peng · Journal of North University of China · 2008

Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) is widely used in multi-criteria decision making situation. The synthetic performance of six automatic mechanisms is evaluated based on a modified AHP method. The performance of automatic mechanisms is described as objective level, criteria level and project level, and the automatic mechanism's mass, caliber of guns, mass of projectiles, initial velocity and firing rate of projectiles are treated as evaluating criteria. The judgment matrixes are given, and then the optimal project can be obtained by modified AHP.The evaluating result is the same as that of the traditional AHP method. The merits of the modified AHP are skipping the step of judgment matrixes consistency checkout and reducing workload.
