A static routing algorithm applied to traffic engineering

With the rapid progress of Internet, the importance of traffic engineering in networks has become more important. In this paper, the present situation of static routing and its defects have been demonstrated and a new static routing algorithm based on genetic algorithm is given. This algorithm is feasible and preferable.
