Analysis of the Monitoring of 487 Critical Patients

Objective To provide scientific basis for improving the management of critical patients by analyzing the critical patients monitored in our hospital.Methods The medical records of 487 critical patients were collected and analyzed.Results Male to female ratio of 487 monitored patients was 2.12:1,the median age was 65,the elderly patients accounted for 82.54%.The top five diseases in the disease spectrum were:the nervous diseases,cardiovascular diseases,respiratory diseases,trauma,and digestive diseases.The top five causes of death were as follows:nervous diseases,respiratory diseases,trauma,cancer,and cardiovascular diseases.The top five diseases with high mortality were as follows:tumor,MODS,the other,trauma,endocrine system diseases.The success rate of rescue was 72.90%.Conclusion By strengthening the monitoring of critical patients and continuously improving the ability to deal with critical patients and management level,the mortality of critical patients can be reduced,and the medical quality can be continuously improved.
