Construction and properties of filter banks of biorthogonal wavelets with bivariate vector-value

The construction of filter banks of bivariate wavelets with biorthogonal vector-valued is researched.When the polyphase matrix decomposition of two-scale matrix sequence of one of a pair of vector-valued scaling functions is matrix poly-noimal,formulas for constructing the corresponding filter banks for vector-valued biorthogonal bivariate wavelets are proposed by means of lifting scheme and polyphase matrix decomposition method.The properties of vector-valued bivariate wavelet packets are discussed.The biorthogonality formulas for the vector-valued bivariate wavelet packets and vector-valued wavelet packet bases are obtained.
