Date Recovery Based on Intelligent Pattern Matching

An intelligent pattern matching-based approach is proposed to recover disk data. It makes use of data consistency on the disk,which is different from the method based on the directory. The set of pattern according to the struct of file is established. Sectors content is automatically classified by the clustering and evaluation algorithm. Calculation of the near sector reliability is helpful to resolve sector classify conflicts. Based on the approach,the recovery system is realized for txt,word and pdf file format. Experiments on disks have been done. Results show the approach works well.
