Iris location algorithm based on Qt/Embedded

Iris recognition is regarded as the most reliable and accurate biometric identification method available.The key of iris recognition is locating iris quickly and accurately.Based on the research on an iris localization algorithm of Snake model,an iterative Snake algorithm was proposed to locate the inner boundary of iris through improving the Snake algorithm.A simplified Daugman circle detection operator was used to locate the outer boundary of iris.The iris localization algorithm was realized with QT in Linux.The result shows that the accuracy of iris localization is satisfaction,the speed is improved observably,and the algorithm can support the embedded system well.
