Track initiation algorithm based on the modified logic

A new track initiation algorithm based on the modified three-out-of-four logic is presented, which makes use of the characteristics of the moving targets. In the new algorithm, a limitation condition is added to the conventional logic-based track initiation process so as to exclude the returns which may form V-shape tracks. The effectiveness of the new track initiation algorithm is verified by Monte Carlo simulations. It shows that the new track initiation algorithm can effectively and quickly get initiation tracks in clutters.
