The Past,Present and Future of Crime Investigation Linguistics

The use of spoken and written language for crime investigation can be traced back to ancient times in China.In recent years,the Crime Investigation Linguistics has witnessed a rapid development,and developed its own fully-fledged disciplinary theories and methodology.In the meantime,the success of voiceprint identification and the application of written language identification have extended greatly the scope of investigative linguistics study,which will be conducive to further development of the discipline.
