Research on Size Distribution of Sinters With Different MgO Content

By studying the size distribution of sinters with different MgO content,the fractal dimension was calculated with a linear correlation coefficients was over 0.97,so,it is to characterize the size distribution of sinters with diffe-rent MgO content by fractal dimension.The fractal dimension can be used to evaluate the MgO content of sinters quantitatively.With microstructure of the sinter,the relationship between drum strength,yield and fractal dimension of sinters can be explained.The fractal dimension is increased with the MgO content.
