Using 40college students as participants and eye movement tracking technique, and disturbing the acquisition of semantic information through inverting 3Dindoor scenes, the study explored the effect of semantic information on contextual cueing effect during visual search in indoor scenes. The results were as follows:(1)contextual cueing effect was examined in up and inverted scenes groups.(2)the contextual cueing effect in inverted scenes group only occur in the scanning epoch, specifically,it reduces the scan time, scan fixation numbers and scan pattern ratio;and there is no difference with the up scenes group. It shows that disturbing the semantic information has no effect on the contextual cueing effect during search in indoor scenes and the attention processing pattern in different search epochs.
