A novel direction-finding algorithm based on minimum redundancy fourth-order cyclic cumulant matrix that exploits the cyclestationary nature of communication signals is presented.Compared with basic MUSIC algorithm, the proposed method can suppress stationary noise of any distribution and nonstationary interferences that don't share the same cycle frequencies with the signals of interesting(SOIs).In addition, all the noises following Gaussian distribution, even if they share the common cycle frequencies with SOIs,can be fully suppressed. The presented algorithm bears much less computational burden and can accurately distinguish and select SOIs,and consistently estimate the arrival angles of SOIs whose number can be greater than the number of arrays.
