An exploration on the design of hospital nursing call communication system and the anti-collision algorithm

The paper presents and discusses the design of hospital nursing call communication system and the anti-collision algorithm. RS485 bus architecture is applied to the communication system. According to the CSMA/CD carrier sense multiple access/collision detection principles, the design is on the basis of thetime difference strategy— both the delay backoff algorithm and the conflict backoff algorithm, aiming to reduce the probability of occurrence of conflict once again and to improve the real-time performance of data transmission.
